High-Rise Residential

Located in the flourishing neighborhood of Hintonburg with views overlooking the city of Ottawa, and minutes away from paths and parkways, the second phase of the Wellington West project brings together a modern design coupled with heritage architectural features.  The project involved the construction of a 13-storey residential building containing 180 units and 2 levels of underground parking. The heritage red brick Bethany Hope Centre was incorporated into the design and is connected to the residential building.  The Bethany Hope Centre was completely rehabilitated to include residential units, commercial office space, and an impressive amenity area.  The Doran team’s experience with preserving and highlighting valuable heritage architecture while incorporating modern and functional design was a perfect fit for the requirements of this project.

All units in the residential building feature upgraded finishes throughout with special construction techniques used to reduce noise transmission while increasing energy efficiency.  The development also includes a private rooftop terrace, barbecues, party room, and fully equipped gym.
