We recognize the rights of all employees to work in a safe and healthy environment. Doran’s priority is to operate and complete all work in the safest manner possible. In addition to its Corporate Health and Safety Program, a comprehensive site-specific safety plan consistent with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and industry best practices is developed for each project. The Site-Specific Safety Plan is regularly reviewed and adjusted to suit construction phasing, revisions to work zones, and operational criteria.
In Doran’s mission towards safety excellence, we are currently pursuing the Certificate of Recognition (COR) Program through the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA). The criteria used by the Program are recognized nationwide, ensuring employers have an effective and robust health and safety program in place. Effective policies and processes coupled with comprehensive training programs are the basis of our safe and successful construction sites.
