an older existing facility was completed in three phases to permit continuedoperation of
the facility while upgrades progressed. Doran was engaged as construction manager for the
Phase 1 addition. The final phase was converted to a stipulated sum contract for
completion.Extensive upgrades to all facilities including kitchen, dining, nursing facilities, residents rooms and the central mechanical plant produced a modern institution. This improved environment enabled care-givers to provide extended care for the residents. Both concrete/masonry frame construction and wood framing were used throughout to be consistent with the various existing structure. |
