was installed to provide 100% of the minimum load requirements for electric power for the
hospital. Heat recovery through a "Flu-Ace" tower was achieved by feeding
exhaust gases and flu gases from existing boilers through the "Flu-Ace". One
boiler was eliminated as a result with the hot water from the tower used as part of
central heating system.The overall result produced a quick payback in capital and an assured supply of electrical power at below market rates. |
